Advanced Intermediate French classes are offered on Tuesday evenings, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Fall 2017 classes are September 12 to November 21.
At the end of the Spring session of Advanced Intermediate French, students should be able to understand the main ideas of concrete or abstract topics in a complex text, including a technical article in the user’s area of expertise; communicate with a degree of spontaneity and fluency during a conversation with a native speaker, in a way that is comfortable for everyone; speak in a clear, detailed way on a number of subjects; express an opinion on current affairs, giving the advantages and disadvantages of the various options.
Conversation is an integral part of every class meeting in Advanced Intermediate.
Advanced Intermediate classes correspond to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) level B2. Not sure if you are an Advanced Intermediate? Take a placement test here.
