Do you need a French interpreter or translator?
Mrs. Nathalie Dieu-Porter was born and raised in francophone Belgium. She has a Master’s degree in French, English, and Italian Translation from the International School of Translators and Interpreters of the University of Mons, Belgium and a Post-Master’s degree in Language Didactics from the Department of Psychology and Education of the University of Mons, Belgium. Michelle Thompson came to the U.S. from France in 1991. She continued her studies in Foreign Languages and holds a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt Law School. She began translating in Monte Carlo, France, in the areas of marketing, legal and business. She served as the editor to the Foreign Language Chair of the University of Memphis and taught in their International MBA program. Since 2010, Michelle prepares Vanderbilt PhD applicants to the language test involving translating complex original texts in French to English in the disciplines of Theology, History and Philosophy. Michelle regularly contracts to translate documents including legal pleadings and original certificates from France, Canada, and African francophone countries.
